In early years, our job focused mainly on the diagnosis, vaccination and treatment of diseases of pigs and other farm animals and fowls. In later years, detection and prevention of shared diseases by animals and humans have become our new mission. As people became gradually aware of animal rights, Taiwan’s Animal Protection Act was enacted on November 4th, 1998. Our latest tasks include promotion of animal rights to the citizens so as to keep up with the world trend.
